Return to Neighborhood School Requests
Beginning May 1, 2008, the Office of Student Placement will accept Return to Neighborhood School Transfer Requests from parents for the September 2008 school year. To learn more click HERE.
Federal Family Educational Rights
According to the Federal Family Educational Rights Act, directory information about students may be released by the District without parental consent.  To learn more and download the Opt-Out Form click HERE..
At Risk Students
Parents of Students that are AT RISK academically will be notified through the mail. Parents of
AT RISK students are mandated to attend the Report Card Visitation Day. 
Executive Board Postions
Home and School is receiving nominations for Executive Board postions which will become vacant due to graduating parents. Elections will be held on May 14.

Dear Parent/Guardian:
Philadelphia continues to face an epidemic of sexually transmitted disease (STDs) among its teenagers. The Philadelphia Department of Public Health and the School District of Philadelphia have worked together to offer free, voluntary and confidential testing and treatment in School District high schools for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia, two of the most common infectious diseases among teenagers.

Schedule Changes
On January 16, 2008, the School Reform Commission amended Resolution SRC-1 to reflect a change in the 2007-2008 school district calendar. Please note the following revisions below:

Tuesday, May 20, 2008, is no longer a professional development day. It has been changed to a full school day for all students and staff.

Tuesday, April 22, 2008, is now a professional development day -- staff only. Students will not be in attendance.

267 Commencement
267 Commencement has been changed from Monday June 16th to Wednesday
June 18th. It will still be held at 10:00 AM at the Kimmel Center.
The change of date was necessary to comply with the School District
of Philadelphia's mandated graduation dates.
